1. Overview
MerchDraft plans to sell generation packs as one-time digital purchases with no automatic renewal. A completed product image uses one generation. Listing copy associated with that request is included.
When Paddle checkout is enabled, Paddle acts as merchant of record and authorized reseller. Paddle collects payment, handles applicable taxes, issues receipts, and processes approved refunds.
This policy does not limit any refund, withdrawal, or consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
2. Failed or incomplete generations
A generation reserved for an image that does not complete is returned automatically to your available balance. You are charged only for images recorded as successfully completed.
If an automatic return does not appear, contact [email protected] with your account email, approximate time of the request, and the affected product name. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, or API keys.
3. Refund eligibility
Unless required by law, completed digital transactions are generally non-refundable. Paddle or MerchDraft may approve a full or partial refund based on the circumstances, including:
- a duplicate or incorrect charge;
- a persistent technical defect that prevents access to the purchased service and cannot be resolved;
- a purchase made without authorization, subject to reasonable verification;
- unused generation balances where a discretionary refund is appropriate;
- a statutory withdrawal or refund right that applies in your location.
Use of a generation pack may affect eligibility because the digital service has begun and value has been consumed. Refunds may be declined where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, chargeback abuse, policy violation, or substantial use of the purchased generations.
For current regional periods and mandatory rights, review Paddle's Refund Policy.
4. How to request a refund
Submit requests promptly through one of these channels:
- Use the support or receipt link in the purchase confirmation email.
- Visit paddle.net and choose the refund option.
- Email [email protected] if you need product-level investigation before contacting Paddle.
Include the account email, transaction or receipt identifier, purchase date, package name, and a concise explanation. Never email full card numbers or sensitive authentication information.
5. What happens after a refund
Approved refunds are normally returned through the original payment method. Timing depends on Paddle, the payment network, and your financial institution.
Refunded generation balances will be removed from the account. If some generations were used, a partial refund or other adjustment may apply. Access may be suspended if a refund causes the account to have an invalid or negative balance.
6. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Please contact Paddle or MerchDraft before opening a chargeback. This gives us an opportunity to investigate duplicate charges, technical failures, or account issues more quickly.
When a chargeback is opened, access connected to the disputed purchase may be temporarily limited while the payment provider investigates. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in account suspension.
7. Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in this policy excludes rights relating to services that are faulty, materially misdescribed, unavailable, or otherwise protected by mandatory consumer law. Where local law or Paddle's policy provides stronger protection, that stronger protection applies.
8. Policy changes
The version in effect when you purchase a pack applies to that transaction, subject to mandatory law. We may update this policy for future purchases and will show the new effective date.
